Here at Weigh Safe, our customers are our number one priority and we want to make sure that you have a hitch that works for you and your setup. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please review our Return Policy below so we can get you taken care of!
If you are not happy with your purchase, you can return your product for a full refund or exchange, as long as the product is brand new/unused and in the original packaging. This means that if you place the ball mount into the receiver of your truck and upon insertion/removal, it becomes scraped, scratched or damaged/marked up in any way from the receiver, it is considered “used” and we will not be able to authorize a return.
We only accept returns or exchanges of unused products within 90 days from the ship date. Anything beyond the 90 day period, we will be unable to accept the product for a refund or exchange.
If you are wanting to return or exchange a product within the 90 day window, you must fill out a Return Request and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our customer support team prior to returning any product to our warehouse. Items sent back to our warehouse without a RMA number will NOT be accepted for a refund or exchange. Any return request for products outside 90 days from the order ship date will also NOT be accepted.
If you are sending your product back for a refund, the product must be in brand new and unused condition. The customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs in getting the product back to our warehouse. We will send you a prepaid return label directly from us, as shipping from your local shipping company is usually more expensive. The cost for that prepaid return label for return shipping will be deducted from your total refund.
Once you receive a RMA number from our team, you must send the product back in its original packaging. If your product is not packaged appropriately and it becomes damaged during transit, you will be subject to a 30% restocking fee which will be deducted from your total refund.
Once received, please expect 1-3 business for processing and inspection. After processing and inspection is complete, we will issue the refund to your original form of payment. Depending on your bank, this can take 5-10 business days to reflect on your end.
If you are sending your product back for an exchange, the product must be in brand new and unused condition. The customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs in getting the product back to our warehouse and shipping out the new product. If there is a price difference between the exchanged products, where the new product you will be receiving is cheaper than your original purchase, Weigh Safe will cover shipping to the amount of the price difference. Any excess amount the customer is responsible to pay for.
On the other hand, if the new product is more expensive than the original purchase, you will be responsible for shipping both ways for the exchange AND the price difference. We will send you a prepaid return label directly from us, as shipping from your local shipping company is usually more expensive. You will be charged prior to the exchange process taking place.
Once you receive a RMA number from our team, you must send the product back in its original packaging. See attached PDF on how items should be packaged. If your product is not packaged appropriately and it becomes damaged during transit, we will NOT be able to move forward with the exchange. At that point, if we received a damaged item, we can (A) refund you for just that component with a 30% restocking fee deducted from the refund or (B) we can ship the damaged item back to you (at your expense) and you can purchase an entirely new component.
Once received, please expect 1-3 business for processing and inspection. After processing and inspection is complete and we have determined that the item can be exchanged, we will ship out the exchanged item.
Any refurbished or “seconds” purchase is FINAL SALE. We will not accept any kind of exchange or return on these units.
ORDERS PAST THE 90 DAY PERIOD:
